Deposit credits

Post by Sisserou »

How long does it take to receive the deposit credits?

I deposited last night and turned on the to pay the 10% fee, however while my BTC was credited to my wallet, I did not receive the deposit credits.

Also, do I have to buy credits to earn more BTC or can my BTC just sit there and earn even though I don't buy credits? I have looked at videos, however this is still not clear to me.

Thank you,
Sisserou

Credits are issued instantly at the moment a deposit is confirmed and deposited into your wallet. If the option to pay the Deposit Fee is enabled, a 10% fee will apply and Credits will be issued to your wallet at the same time.

Just checked your wallet and the payment that arrived was credited to your wallet with a timestamp of 2025-09-02 22:14:02. The Deposit Fee wasn't enabled until shortly after at 2025-09-02 22:15:37.

In order for the fee to be charged and Credits issued, the Deposit Fee option must be enabled at the time that the deposit is confirmed and credited to your wallet. Now that it's enabled, the fee will apply to future on-chain deposits (assuming that it is not disabled). 😄

It's not possible to increase your Bitcoin holdings without Credits. The key to growing your Bitcoin is acquiring Credits at discounts and allowing them to convert into Bitcoin at a 1-to-1 ratio. It's like you giving me $10 today and me giving you $11 back next week. Repeat this for 4 weeks and you'll eventually walk away with $14 (increasing your original holdings). If you choose not to give me $10, your $10 will just sit in your pocket and earn nothing. The same principle applies to the wallets.

Ultimately, this is a Bitcoin wallet that can be used to send & receive Bitcoin just like any other wallet (although much faster and oftentimes cheaper when transacting with other wallets in the network). Each user can determine if or when they would like to use the various earning features of the wallet; whether it be via paying deposit fees for on-chain deposits, buying Credits in the marketplace, or using automated features like the Automated Satoshi Stacker or the Stimulus Generator. But all these features support the acquisition of Credits at discounted rates.

Just to be 100% clear... You don't necessarily have to "BUY" credits to earn more BTC b/c Credits can be issued when a deposit fee is paid and the amount of Credits you receive back is 105% of the deposit fee. So technically, you are receiving an additional 5% in Credits for free where the other 100% covers the deposit fee that you paid. With that out of the way, I'll say this... You don't have to "BUY" credits to earn more BTC, but you absolutely have to "ACQUIRE" credits in some way to earn Bitcoin. And the best way to start is by purchasing Credits in the Marketplace, simply because you'll find higher discounts there. And once you've made purchases in the Marketplace, your wallet will be able to purchase Delayed Credits as well, which is a new feature that was just released this week.

I know it may seem like a lot to digest at first but take your time with it. The more you learn about the wallets, the easier it will be to devise some nice strategies to increase your Bitcoin holdings.

And I (as well as a few others) will be around to help you on your journey should you need us. Just reach out any time.

Hi Sisserou, great to hear you're onboard - don't be too disappointed about missing the deposit as it's a low priority in terms of gaining credits.
The marketplace really has some good deals where you can get a better discount, try starting with a small purchase and look at the conversion rates back into BTC.
Continue watching the videos as this will help get up to speed with all the features, there is quite a lot to take in at first but over time you'll see the huge potentials.
