Having DNS issues... The front end websites aren't able to connect to the back-end server because the nameservers aren't resolving to the server's ip address. This is not within my control and I'm collaborating with all hosting partners to define a solution.

I'm talking with 2 hosting companies and trying to identify the source of the issue and the root cause. At this point, it seems that connections to the back-end servers aren't working from some DNS locations (Europe and specifically Germany), while connections work just fine from other locations. If this continues, it may be necessary to migrate the hosting of the front-end sites out of Europe and into a region where DNS records are up to date and resolving properly.

Can't really give an ETC on this one b/c it's not within my area of control or sphere of influence... But I will get to the bottom of it and find a resolution.
