What wallet should I use?

Post by Hagenisse »

Hi everyone!
I'm new here and hoping it's ok to ask a couple of questions?

I've been studying the available information and watched a lot (maybe too many?) videos, but there's still about 10% confusion left on my part:
  • Why are there two wallets? How are they different? (I'm wondering which one I should choose; drip2btc or High Yield BTC?)
  • Is there a definitive/reccomended video I should watch to get my head properly around how these wallets work? (I've read a few articles as well, but maybe not the right ones?)
  • Is there a commuity chat somewhere? (Telegram/ Discord)

Hey Hagenesse,

You will get a detailed answer from Mista Phi, the creator of (Digital Crypto Solutions), with in in the next 24 hours. For now, to answer your question. High Yield BTC & Drip to BTC, are under the same banner. The mechanism, dynamics, & written code support one another, under the DCS system. You can get a wallets in either platform, as long as you under the criteria, for making deposits.

You can also watch videos on Youtube, from the DCS channel. DripCoach who is part of the team at DCS and a administor on the DCS forum, has many introductory videos, on the DCS You tube channel and has toturial videos, to answer your questions. You also check him out on his on channel, on You Tube (Drip Coach) or go to earlier videos on Mista Phi's youtube channel, to search for more information on past videos. Drip Coach is also connected with (DRIP to BTC) and you can seach engine some of videos on his Youtube channel, as well to get more specifics or drop him, a comment on his recent vids and he'll get back to you so there is plenty of information on Youtube and in the DCS foruum, to assist you.

I am sure Mista Phi and Drip Coach will be able to answer your questions and welcome to the DCS forum!

Thanks for answering and the welcome, much appreciated!

I've been doing some more reading and video watching and think I have a better (not perfect by far) understanding of the vision and how these wallets work now, but I've not yet concluded which of these two wallets I should register for. Maybe I'm being slow and the answer is obvious.

I probably started in the wrong end. The first I heard about all this was Mista Phi's video about Bitnest a week ago. I've been working backwards since then. :icon_lol:
I'm too late to join the Bitnest thing now, but the wallets seem more interesting as a long term thing anyway.

I'll wait to see if Mista Phi and/or Drip Coach can help me reach a conclusion. :icon_e_smile:

Hi Hagenisse and I'm pleased to hear that you've discovered our Bitcoin wallets and have an interest. Your intuition has certainly led you in the right direction. :)

The warm welcome you received from Monty echos as a welcome from us all, so rest assured that you're in the right place.

You have some interesting questions so big ups to you for inquiring. I'll begin by picking up where Monty left off.

The websites are created as white labels (websites designed and built by one company but can be rebranded and resold under another company's brand). This offers potential investors the opportunity to run our wallet software under their own brand and logo, and receive 5-10% revenue share from transaction fees generated within their white labeled site (see https://www.digitalcryptosolutions.com/ ... pto-wallet). But it makes no difference which site you choose because all sites operate the same way and connect to the same back end processes.

Drip Coach is the owner of the drip2btc white label so if you were to ask him which wallet you should register for, I'm certain that he'll say DRIP2BTC :icon_lol: But regardless of which one you register for, everything will ultimately result in a win for everyone. As you learn more about the wallets, you'll likely begin acquiring more wallets (like many others do); using different wallets for different use cases and strategies. But start with one, learn about the available features, and you'll find yourself defining your own strategies in no time.

Please note that more websites may be released in the future and to avoid using unauthorized copies of our sites, you can always verify the legitimacy of the site by going to https://www.digitalcryptosolutions.com/verification

Also, a user/household can register for up to 10 wallets with no penalties; and that's 10 wallets per site. So you can register for 10 wallets on drip2btc and another 10 wallets on high-yield-btc. And you can use the same email address to register for a wallet on both drip2btc and high-yield-btc, but you can't use the same email address more than once on each platform. So if you wanted 2 wallets but only wanted to use 1 email address, you'd want to register for a single wallet on each platform. (Hope that makes sense)

Click here to access a video playlist that steps through some of the basics. Registrations for the wallets start with video 4, so you may want to start at that point.

It'll also be a good idea to read over the Awareness Guide for the wallets. It contains a list of short articles that will help you grasp a better understanding of how the wallets operate.

And of course we have the original medium article that was posted shortly after the wallets went live. Many new features and upgrades have been implemented since this article was released, but this describes the core of the wallets' operations.

We do have a telegram chat and a few socials, but engagement is minimum and we prefer sharing info about the wallets from our own platform. This serves as an original & verified source of info, with no restrictions or gatekeeping. Plus, it's much better to put our own unique content on our own platforms rather than sharing it on other platforms where others get to benefit from our content. :icon_cool:

No need to overthink... Just flip a coin :icon_e_biggrin: Many users have wallets on both platforms.

Hope that answers you're questions for the time being but always feel free to inquire further if more questions arise. Welcome to the fam. Looking forward to hearing some positive feedback from you as time passes.

Take care and we'll holla soon.

Thanks again for another warm welcome!
And thanks for your very good and detailed answer! I must say, this was something else than being met with "Read pinned" after really trying to do my own research for a good while.
Your post was exactly what I needed, perfect introduction to the eco system. (Should be pinned, maybe.. :icon_lol: )

I'm sure I'll have more, and potentially dumb, questions along the way, but for now, I'll just open a new wallet sometime this weekend and go from there.

Thanks again, and have a great weekend!

My pleasure Hagenisse... The more you understand about the wallets, the better equipped you'll be at devising strategies to support your goals for earning Bitcoin; and for transacting in Bitcoin as well. If you ever find yourself wanting or needed to send Bitcoin to another person, have them register for a wallet and then send them Bitcoin. The payment will be faster, you will pay lowers fees, and the recipient will then have access to a wallet that's able to help them stack sats as well.

More wallet activity = more transaction fees (ie. revenue) for the system
AND
More system reveneue = faster returns and higher APYs for all holders of Credits

And it's always a good idea to have Credits b/c Credits can be acquired at discounts or for free; but convert into Bitcoin at a 1-to-1 ratio. If anyone has Bitcoin sitting in their wallet and no Credits, their Bitcoin is sitting idle and earning nothing extra. So it's always a good idea to put a percentage of your Bitcoin to work by purchasing discounted Credits and allowing those Credits to convert into Bitcoin over the course of time. As time passes, you'll always end up with more BTC than you had before. :icon_idea:

Before registering for a wallet, I'd recommend waiting until you're ready to fund it with a minimum of 0.0002 BTC (about $21). Newly registered wallets that are not funded within the first 10 days of registration are automatically closed and the email that is associated with the registration is blacklisted so that it can no longer be used to register for any other DCS wallet in the future. Just something you'll want to be mindful of.

Also once you're registered, it would be a good idea to access your wallet's settings so you can update all of the features & settings that you want/need before sending any payments to your wallet. If you have questions about any of the options or settings, feel free to create a new topic in this forum or use the contact us button at the bottom of the website to submit a more private inquiry.

Wishing you a great weekend as well.
