New deposit from newbie

Post by gate2crypto »

Hello,

This is gate2crypto. I'm new.

2 days ago, I received an email stating:

Considering that you took the initiative to register for a High Yield BTC wallet (120086849) but have not used it, we've determined that you have no genuine interest in using its features to earn Bitcoin or transact more efficiently.

As such, your wallet has been scheduled for removal and will be permanently deleted if not funded within the next 7 days. Should your wallet be deleted, your email address will also be banned from future wallet registrations.

I am interested so please DO NOT DELETE MY WALLET.
I just sent to my wallet
3G8PHY9jbvMgycAvTWV6FkMs3X9tzTzWuR

0.00034384 BTC

It normally takes about 6 hours for funds to arrive (slow boat to lower fees).

Question - should I activate the 10% deposit fee in my settings?

Thank you

Hi gate2crypto...

Just checked your wallet and you have another 5 days before the wallet is closed out; so you have plenty of time. But just FYI, there is no record of any payments to that address on the blockchain so you may want to keep an eye on this over the next day or two. Network fees are extremely cheap right now so there's no reason that a payment wouldn't be processed within a couple minutes of being submitted (unless you are sending from a crypto exchange or something similar). Just keep an eye out. :icon_e_wink:

Enabling the deposit fee is one way to bag some free Credits, but you'll only get a 5-6% of the fee in Credits. It would be a better idea to leave it disabled and purchase Credits from the marketplace b/c there are currently discounts of up to 10% there.

And with the recent release of the Delayed Credits feature, I'd split my purchase amount with 1/4th going towards purchasing Credits in the marketplace and 3/4th going towards purchasing Delayed Credits. This will be a good strategy if you log in to your wallet at least once a month.

If you don't care to log in that often and prefer a set-it and forget-it solution to grow your Bitcoin, check out the Stimulus Generator and/or the Automated Satoshi Stacker.

There are many features and tons of strategies to choose from... So take your time learning about all of the features of the wallet and you'll be able to devise a variety of strategies that work best for you.

Welcome to the fam my friend and always feel free to reach out if you have any questions or concerns.

Thank you so much for your reply.

Your suggestion about not turning on the deposit fee but rather purchasing credits / delayed credits from the marketplace is very helpful.
I will follow your advice since I should be logging in at least once a week to see what is going kn and to learn the system better.

I have checked with the source of my funds and it is still PENDING. It should be released soon. (Fingers crossed.) If not, I will go to my Binance account and send the bitcoin from there.

By the way, just FYI. I found you while I was researching BITNEST. I wanted to let you know that I received my payment from BITNEST yesterday, September 16, exactly after 28 days. 3 more contracts due to mature today. and another 3 to mature in 4 days. So I believe I am past the danger point and expect to celebrate in 4 days when I get 100% of my capital. I will put some of those funds in my wallet here.

I want you to know that while I don't understand everything about the wallet and how to grow my BTC here, I joined because you are refreshingly HONEST, in the ocean of scammers and greedy platforms. Honesty and transparency are RARE In this space. So thank you for being you. Keep it up!

Appreciate that gate2crypto... The space is definitely inundated with scams and I've lost thousands. But all things work for the good of those who love God and are called according to His purpose. Had I not experienced so many scams, I wouldn't have been motivated enough to develop solutions like this, nor would I have gained an understanding of why all of these other projects are either scams, ponzis, hackable, or unsustainable. The wallets provide a solution to everything that was wrong with defi and covers pretty much all of the inherent issues with Bitcoin (slow & potentially expensive transactions, inability to send micropayments, inability to earn more Bitcoin, moderately low privacy, and complexities associated with most layer 2 solutions).

But to get a basic understanding of how you're able to grow your BTC with these wallets, check out this article - https://www.digitalcryptosolutions.com/ ... oin-wallet

This was the core design which is still in place, but many more features have been implemented since the initial launch of the wallets back in March 2024. As you delve in and learn more, that 'ah ha' moment will come and everything will perfectly clear. And again, we're always here to help out if you have questions.

Greetings mistaPhi

Thank you again for your reply.

I have read and re-read the article you sent. I believe I now have a good basic understanding of how the wallet works.

So I decided not to wait any longer for my slow deposit and used Binance instead.
I have deposited 0.00040122 BTC into the wallet.
Then I followed your advice and bought 0.0001 credits and bought 0.00027 delayed credits.

My dashboard is showing Conv APY of 78%.
I assume this is good.
Can you give me a simplified way of figuring out how much my BTC is growing?

Thanks again.

P.S. I also love that you seem to be a God fearing man.

Smart move... You'll learn that time is money (or in this case, Bitcoin) b/c your Bitcoin is sitting idle on an exchange or in another wallet & isn't supporting the growth of your BTC holdings. It's just sitting there - collecting no interest. And platforms that do offer returns typically support less than a 5% APY in Bitcoin.

So by using the features of the wallet as you've done, your Bitcoin is now working for you to produce more Bitcoin. And keep in mind that we're talkin' Bitcoin... An asset that will continue to reach higher highs with each new cycle. So $10 in BTC today could very easily be worth $20-$100 in the next cycle. So while waiting for the price to reach it's next high, it's smart to accumulate more while waiting. Stacking sats is key and the wallets help you stack more sats with the sats that you already have (meaning you don't have to keep buying Bitcoin or sending Bitcoin to your wallet). When the yield-generating features of the wallets are used, your Bitcoin balance will continue to increase over time.

A 78% APY is great, but you'll find that APYs tend to decrease as your Available Credits increase. This is per design to keep the playing field balanced for both small and large purchases. No whales will be able to manipulate the system :)

But observing the APY is the easiest way to determine how your Bitcoin is growing. APY is your Annual Percentage Yield, which indicates how much you'll earn on your positions over the course of a year. If you buy $10 in Credits and your APY is 78%, then you should have $17.80 rather than $10 after a year has passed. That's a profit of $7.80 that you earned from a $10 purchase.

That's a quick and simple way of looking at it, but there are other factors to consider with the wallets...

With smaller amounts of Available Credits, it's highly likely that all of your Credits will convert into Bitcoin within a few months (not over the course of a full year). And this is taken into consideration when calculating the APY.

Let's say you purchased $10 in Credits at a 10% discount. That means you paid $9 and you'll end up with a net profit of $1 after all of your credits have converted into Bitcoin.

Now let's say that it takes 3 months for all of your credits to convert into Bitcoin. So 3 months later, you have $10 rather than $9. This is a 10% return in 3 months (or 1 quarter). But since APY designates the yield in a year and there are 4 quarters in a year, the APY would be calculated and displayed as 40% (4 * 10%).

This assumes that you will continue to purchase more credits in 3 months after all of your credits have converted, but it's completely up to you whether you want to do this or not. Nevertheless, the APY is calculated in a way that forecasts a rate over the course of a full year.

With that said, the Automated Satoshi Stacker can be used to automatically purchase credits for you once all of your Credits have converted. This way, you'll know that a portion of the Bitcoin sitting in your wallet is always working for you. Feel free to read up on this automated feature and let me know if you have questions.

Please note that the Conversion APY is specifically related to the conversion of Available Credits into Bitcoin. It does not apply to the purchase of Delayed Credits unless credits are issued at the end of each 30-day period. For the most part, Bitcoin will be returned from Delayed Credits instead.

Hope this all makes sense but always feel free to ask questions if something comes up.

I've also updated your profile to be a verified member since you're now 100% into on the wallets.

Excellent, and makes sense... Most of the people that follow me are either believers, critical thinkers, technically minded, or in their 40s-60s... The wise ones! LOL But if there's any demographic that I'd like to support, this is it! And although I no longer spend time or resources promoting our wallets, the Lord leads whomever He wills to our platform and those that get it will get it. So glad to see that your one of them! We have a bright future in the midst of all the chaos throughout the rest of the world.

Amen mistaPhi!
It really feels good to be in business with like-minded people!

I thank you again for your very detailed and thorough explanation πŸ‘
I agree 100% that this wallet system will help me grow my BTC holdings without the need to buy new BTC, and the rate of growth is higher than what is used normally.

My plan is to regularly deposit new BTC into the wallet and use these to duplicate what I just did.
When I have new BTC deposits, can I buy credits and delayed credits even if my current credits are not yet fully converted to BTC?
Or do I have to wait for the current credits to finish converting to BTC, before I can use the new funds to buy more?

Thank you for being so patient with me and all my questions πŸ’•

Oh yea, I think you'll fit in quite nicely here.

Yes, you can buy Credits any time you have an available BTC balance... You don't have to wait for all of the Credits to convert into Bitcoin.

Same with buying Delayed Credits, but the amount of Delayed Credits you can purchase is currently limited to 3 times the amount of BTC that your wallet has used to purchase Credits from the marketplace.

As you play around with the wallets and learn more about them, you'll eventually discover the value and benefits of having multiple wallets. But enjoy learning all of the features that are currently available (not just the earning features, but the security & asset recovery features as well).

And feel free to inquire as much as you need to... I am a huge advocate of people having a full understanding of what they're investing in and the more you understand about our wallets, the more you'll realize that everything else is pretty much trash. LOL And if that light-bulb moment hasn't triggered yet, keep digging and inquiring; and it will.

Also if many questions begin coming to mind, let me know and we can schedule a video call to go over your questions and perform live demonstrations of the wallets.

Always a pleasure my friend.
