Latest Crypto Scams: How to Stay Safe

Post by ACSma234 »

Cryptocurrency scams such as pig butchering schemes and celebrity endorsements (Trump crypto scam, Malone crypto scam) defraud investors with false promises.
Red flags:
  • Guaranteed high returns
  • Pressure to invest quickly
  • Fake celebrity associations (Barron Trump crypto scam, Hawk Tuah girl scam)
Is crypto safe? Yes – however only via regulated exchanges.
Does crypto earn real money? Volatility ensures profits are not guaranteed.

Protect yourself and safeguard your funds:
  • Research and investigate projects extensively before investing.
  • Never give away private keys or pass keys.
  • Don't take unsolicited "offers"
Be cautious – if an offer sounds too good to be true and endorsed by fake news, it probably is a scam.
