1 or more wallets

Hi All

So I am new to this wallet, I have seen the complete playlist of 47 videos, and think I got it mostly :icon_e_smile: but here is what I am thinking.

If I have $500 that I want to deposit in wallet(s) would it not be better that I deposit $100 in 5 different wallets in stead of all in 1, not so much for more btc, but more for the speed of return?

And am I right in that I have to have a new email adress pr wallet?

Hope it is not to stupid quetions.

Hey Scorpion,

You're 100% correct on the multi-wallet strategy... Looks like you've been doing your research ✊

Regarding the email address, a unique address is required for each wallet within a specific site. There are currently 2 sites running the wallet software - https://www.high-yield-btc.com and https://www.drip2btc.com So technically, you can use a single email address to create up to 2 wallets - one on hybtc and another on drip2btc.

There are never any stupid questions so any time you encounter something that is not clear, always feel free to ask it here 😎

This forum exists for such purposes.

Thanks for th quick answer, on a nother note, are you familiar with the youtuber Joe Nakamoto, he is traveling around the world using btc and showing different ways to use different wallets to fast transactions in stores and peer to peer, maybe look him up, to see if he could be interested.

Hi @Scorpion,
Great to hear you've watched the playlist of vids, and this is not a silly question.
Mistaphi already mention can use 1 email address for each site - High Yield BTC and Drip2BTC

Deposits: Yes you could split first deposit amounts between many wallets, some points to think of are:
- Enable deposit feature for the wallet? It can instantly deposit 10% and give back 10.5% in credits (start converting)
- Maintaining the wallets and/or using for different purpose like payments and hodl'ing. Enable stimulus generator and\or use marketplace with daily boosts?
- You could always start slower and build credits\convert some BTC in one wallet first, then cheap transfer portion to another new wallet once you're comfortable etc...

Never heard of Joe Nakamoto but I've spent many many hours reaching out to influencers, KOLs, and educators over the past year. Overall, it's proven to be a complete waste of time and effort. My best collaborations are with those who contact me, so I've strategically abandoned efforts to reach out to others.

The platform has reached a satisfactory level of performance and sustainability with its existing user base, so I can focus on new development rather than efforts to increase the awareness and adoption of the wallets. Although the latter would prove to be beneficial to all users of the wallets, it's not needed. As more upgrades role out over time, those who fail to participate in these early stages will wish that they'd started earlier. :)

But thx for the share and I'll do a look up on Joe to see what he's doing. I won't waste any time trying to reach out to him but if you have a connection with him, feel free to share the wallets with him. And if he wants to collab on some things, there are some pretty lucrative opportunities available for the right people.

👍

Just checked out one of Joe's videos and saw that he has Plan B Network plastered in the upper right-hand side of his video. While I've never heard of Joe, I have reached out to Plan B... No response. LOL

I also reached out to Motiv (in Peru) because of their outreach programs. Their Motiv wallet is from the Blink wallet, which uses lightning to support fast payments. And these wallets include small lessons where wallet holders can earn a few sats here and there. But nothing compared to the earning potential of our wallets. It made sense to connect with Motiv so they could share an alternate wallet in communities that are impoverished, giving them access to much greater returns on their Bitcoin. Needless to say, Motiv ignored my correspondence as well. LOL

But at this stage, I'm quite comfortable with sticking to the slow grassroots efforts of onboarding new users. No doubt that the Lord will direct the steps of those that He chooses to benefit from the platform.

Sad indeed...

But I appreciate you sharing. And considering that you're willing to take a little time to drop some comments, I decided to reach out to Joe through his website. Will leave the ball in his court and if there's an interest, he'll know how to contact me.
👍

Again, thx for the referral.
"Hi Joe,

One of our users recently mentioned you in a forum post at viewtopic.php?p=376#p376 and after checking out some of your work, I thought I'd try reaching out and sharing a bit of what we're doing with Bitcoin.

Considering that you have a suitable understanding of Bitcoin itself, it's likely that you'll be able to quickly grasp the concept and benefits of our Bitcoin wallets. So I encourage you to check out one of our wallets via the following link: https://btcwallet.app

After you've registered, send me your wallet's Bitcoin address and I'll send you $20 in Bitcoin to get you started. You'll find features within this wallet that you will not be able to find anywhere else and as you use it, you'll likely have some great light bulb moments and wish that you'd discovered it earlier.

Should you venture to understand the value and capabilities of our wallets and how they can open the door to increased adoption and expanded use cases for Bitcoin, feel free to contact me for a possible collaboration.

Yo Scorp, don't waste your time bruh...

Just got Joe's reply:
Hi!
thanks for the mention.
I am not interested in the wallet.
thanks
Joe
At least he replied! LOL

And note that dude didn't even care to receive $20 in free Bitcoin! LOL You'd think that stacking sats (especially for free) would be a key interest for a Bitcoin advocate, understanding that $20 today could easily be $200 in the next cycle. But I'm just as pleased to keep my Bitcoin to myself. I'll bet if I offered him $10K up front, he'd quickly become interested in the wallets (not understanding the potential to earn much more through a collaboration).

But this is a great example of why I don't waste time reaching out to others. Those that don't get it, won't get it. Those that do get it understand the value and jump on board shortly after hearing about it or looking into it.

Interesting to observe the psyche/mindset of Bitcoin enthusiasts and influencers though. You'd think that they'd be smart enough to learn how to easily increase their Bitcoin holdings and pass such info on to others, but many of them are stuck in a box and aren't willing or able to grasp concepts beyond what they've already learned. But to each his own... Doesn't stop or hinder what we're doing in any way :)
