ETF Boom: Is Chainlink next?

Post by umair »

The recent debut of spot ETFs for XRP and Dogecoin has stirred fresh interest in which altcoin might be next — and many eyes are now on Chainlink. Although LINK has recently slid to around $11.5 amid general altcoin weakness, its fundamentals continue to draw attention: as the largest non-Layer-1 token by market cap, Chainlink plays a critical role bridging on-chain smart contracts with real-world data — a functionality that could make it a prime candidate for ETF adoption.

According to a new report from Grayscale, Chainlink’s expanding institutional partnerships, growing use in real-world asset tokenization, and broad exposure across crypto infrastructure put it on a favorable path. Analysts — including Eric Balchunas — have suggested that a Chainlink ETF (possibly named “GLINK”) may launch as soon as early December, signaling rising confidence among industry watchers.

Technically, LINK is struggling under $12.94 resistance, but a successful ETF listing could trigger fresh capital inflows. If that happens, price targets like $13.77 or even $14.66 are within reach — enough to offset much of its recent 31 % drop. On the flip side, any delay or rejection would likely prolong the downtrend, possibly dragging LINK toward support levels near $11.64.

In short: with ETF momentum building and strong institutional interest, Chainlink stands out as a leading contender to join the next wave of altcoin ETFs. Its infrastructure role and growing real-world adoption give it a credible shot — but timing and approval remain uncertain.
